  5. Oh dear, The Eighties were not a great time for many acts, and for Nick Lowe, some of the worst albums of his career came out in that decade. Whilst 'The Abominable Showman' is not actually a stinker, it sounds like the work of a songwriter whose creative juices were pretty much wrung dry/5(10).
